Loveland Leap Frog 5 Mile Run and Ride
Distance: 5 miles
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: Loveland

Event Information:
The race draws its name from the 1955 and 1972 sightings of the almost man like slimy green Loveland Frog and will traverse some of it's suspected haunts along the Little Miami River. Bring the kids - no minimum age. The race is for teams of two with 1 bike. It is approximately 5 miles and will incorporate 4 mandatory bike exchanges at designated points along the course. At 3 of the bike exchanges there will be an obstacle you each must complete. Once the obstacle is completed the person that left the bike may run on to the next stop (leap frog) while the person behind comes up completes the obstacle and rides the bike on. At the last obstacle you must complete it together and then finish the last 1/2 mile to the finish line together. The last obstacle is a team event. The team must only be together at the beginning and the last obstacle to the finish.
